Meet-and-Greets for New Clients:

Before caring for new client pets, I require a complimentary pre-visit (1 hour max) to allow time for me to get acquainted with your pet(s). This helps to reduce any anxiety on the part of your pet, answer any questions you may have, get an emergency contact, grab an extra key, etc and provide a smoother transition while you’re away.

Payment:

Payment is due at my first visit.

No Refunds/Credits:

100% of payment due for all cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice of reservation. In special circumstances on a case-by-case basis, credit may be given.

Change of Plans:

I get it. Travel plans sometimes change, and I realize there may be situations when you need to adjust your schedule. In addition to the 48-hour cancellation notice, there may be a small fee incurred for the extra travel time should you return home early and I need to make a separate trip to return a house key. Conversely, if you need to extend your stay, I will do my best to accommodate your request for additional visits, pending availability.

During the holidays, I need 72 hours advance notice rather than my usual 48 hours for any cancellations OR changes in the reserved visit schedule. Early notice is always appreciated!

Accepted Payment Forms:

Cash, checks, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal. Payments made to my Venmo business account will incur an additional service fee of 2% of the total price.

Inclement & Hazardous Weather | Road Construction:

I will make every effort possible to complete all visits as scheduled. However, Nevada County does experience heavy snowfall, fires, road construction and other unexpected conditions, which can delay visits or require adjusting times to ensure my safety and that of your pets. While this is less the norm, it does happen from time to time. Therefore, it’s always a good idea for clients to prepare a solid back-up plan with a neighbor, automated-feeding dispensers, etc. This is a judgment call that I may need to make in your absence; however, I will communicate the gameplan every step of the way. 

Timing of Visits:

Hours of Operation: 8 a.m. – daily. Exact timing of each pet visit may vary within a 2-hour window.

Overnight Policy:

Unfortunately, I am currently unavailable for overnight stays, though I can schedule morning, mid-day and evening visits.
